Duties and Achievements

 

  • Achieved rapid promotion over 40 months to become Sales Manager for UK head office, thereafter Exhibitions Sales Manager and Head of Group Training, reporting directly to the UK Managing Director and Group CEO throughout.

  • Responsible for £500,000 marketing budget by 2002, covering local and national, print, radio and trade exhibitions.

  • Formulated a unique financing model that removed a major obstacle / objection to instant sales for 40% of buyers.

  • Conceived the company’s training and information manuals and training programs for the Sales, Customer Service and Exhibition Sales departments.

  • Sales conversion rate for UK sales staff rose to minimum 85% against group average of 60% lead conversion.

  • Responsible for training and development of European and international agencies from 2001 onwards.

  • Created, led and managed development of highly successful new UK sales call centre (80 staff) whilst managing a network of over 60 external sales and marketing agents nationwide.

  • Led an organically grown exhibition sales team of 20 exhibitors supported by 3 full-time admin personnel.

  • Achieved an award at the annual Atlas international Group conference in 2001 for ‘Outstanding Sales Achievements and Unwavering Dedicated Service’ to the company.  Nominated unanimously by both the UK MD and international group Chairman.

 

FY 1999 - Not targeted for sales.  Achieved £1.6m in individual sales.

FY 2000 - Achieved £12m on £10m personal target.  220% of department target of £36m.

FY 2001 - £26m of £12m personal target.  Department achieved 200% of £100m target.

FY 2002 - £28m of £14m personal target.  Department achieved £ 225% of £150million

Drove up national sales from £5m p.a. to over £350million p.a. in 40 months as Head of Sales.
